Im thinking about buying a set of front and rear wind deflectors for the Gal .

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=002&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=120102540447&rd=1&rd=1

I see James has some on the front windows of his Mk2 , but how good are they?

Do they make driving with the windows open any better or are they just a gimmick ?

I don't know if this helps but, I have an uncle that whenever he changes his car he asks me to order and fit these to his new cars. He swears by them, he says you are able to have an airflow in the motor without the noise and draught because the windows can be left opened slightly. He is a smoker also and you can probably guess how useful these are for that. My uncle is the fussiest motorist I know and he wouldn't fit them for looks alone, so I believe them to be very functional.

Damn wish I'd bought a set of 4, I had a set of fronts on the Cinq and quite liked them.

Will email the guy tonight and see if he has another set.

GROUP BUY!!!  Roll Eyes

I looked at these and thought, thats a good buy for a set of 5, 2 fronts, 2 rears, sunroof then read it was for the fronts only!!!
If you want te rears add another £38!!!

Yep, extremely easy.

The sunroof one is drilled and bolted with M40 x 115mm with Nylon Nuts.... Shocked  Cheesy

Only kidding, 3 little clips hold it into postion around the edge of the sunroof.

The fronts, rears etc, are held in by Spring clips inside the window frame.

So Very easily put in and taken out in a jiffy,  Grin

Does that mean they can easily get nicked BP? I had stick on ones on my first MK2. Removed them with hot water to put on my next Galaxy but the self adhesive strip I got would not keep them on in strong winds.

Nope you have to have the windows down and the sunroof open as they're clipped inside.
