We take great delight in letting all members know that we now have Chris Knott Insurance acting as official Insurance Company of the Ford Galaxy Owners Club.

Click the banner below for full details of the scheme:

[ IMAGE NOT SHOWN - GUESTS CANNOT VIEW ATTACHED IMAGES ]

Any member (or member's family or friends) taking out a car, home, travel, breakdown, business etc policy with Chris Knott will not only receive great prices, service and advice, but they will also be supporting the FGOC at the same time.

All you have to do to receive special FGOC rates for all of your insurance needs is to quote "Ford Galaxy" when requesting a quote.

Feel free to pass this information on to anyone you know as the more policies taken out quoting Ford Galaxy, the more your club will benefit.

Insurance company is called Highway, I've never heard of them before but am sure it will be fine, excess has gone down to £150 (£100 cheaper). Fingers crossed i will never have to use them.

Well, I'm happy to report a similar story with my renewal today. esure wanted £40 more than last year at £526 (how they work this out I have no idea as I have 72% NCD with them?!?) So I shopped around and to be honest didn't fair much better anywhere else, many wouldn't quote online with me having non-standard modifications.

Called Chris Knott this morning and spoke to a very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful bloke called John who came back with a quote of £516. "Give me a minute" he said, "we can do better than that". 1 minute later I had it for £414 including all mods and a promise that when I add more mods, providing they don't drastically alter the performance of the Gal, I won't pay any extra this year!! I mentioned the plans for wheels and ICE and headlight conversions and he confimred that they wouldn't affect the premium as long as I declare them when they are fitted!

Again it's through Highway Insurance. Their charge for monthly payments was £30 lower than esure and their discounted full european breakdown cover is another £30 cheaper than Green Flag who I'm with through esure now.

XS is still £100, and includes motoring legal cover up to £50,000 and 90 days european fully comp cover too.

Impressed? I'd say so!! Thumbs Up Many Thanks Chris Knott!!

I think we will be insuring our Renault Megane Expressions (02) with them.

We are waiting for the written quote to make sure but they have said that they will beat e-sures quote by £60 and theirs includes Green flag.

E-sures was £213 for cash then we would have had to get Green Flag £27 = £240.
Knott £179 which includes Green Flag.
Their excesses are less than Esures too.

Think we will be going with them.

Thank you Chris Knott and thank you FGOC.

Well , I just got off the phone after talking to a very helpul lady  called Kym , who quoted me for my car Insurance which is due for renewal next month.

Royal Sun Alliance quoted my renewal at £385  so I tried Chris Knott and they did beat my renewal quote , although only by the 10% that you are given for a new policy .

In fairness , I think if I hadnt had a claim 2 years ago with my current insurer then their quote may have been even better . My alloy wheels were a concern too as Kym stated they usually only allow up to 2 inch increase in wheel diameter over manufacturers spec , but she has agreed to cover my 19s , so this may also have meant the quote was not as low as it couldve been .

As it stands , I was quoted £344 for Fully comprehensive , including protected no claims and legal cover and the excess has stayed the same as my current insurers .

They have covered all my modifications on the policy with like for like replacement , which is great although they only offered minimum cover  on my I.C.E. and suggested that if its a high value system then I should have it added to  our house insurance.

A big thumbs up to Chris Knotts  Thumbs Up

We have just posted off our cheque for £175 (which is £60 less than esure).

This is for an 02 Renault Megane, Over 70's driver with 73% no claims discount.

This also includes green flag breakdown cover , legal cover and protected no claims discount.

We mentioned that we were family of FGOC and that gave us a 10% discount.

The policy is with Zurich and the excesses were less than esure by £70.

The people at Chris Knott were very kind and helpful and we found it an all round good experience.

We are more than happy with the deal, thank you FGOC and thank you Chris Knott.

Just had my renewal from insurer and it was up over £200.00 to just over £800.00 , so shopping around on the net i tried a search and came up with a company called bell who done it at £576 all in, well impressed and thought no one will beat that, wrong!!!! i phoned Chris knott and spoke to a very nice man called paul who beat that qoute by 10% and now have a total of £520.00 all in Woohoo Thumbs Up Propeller Yahoo! i honestly thought that the bell qoute was brill as i have had a claim and 3 points in the last 2 years and couldn't see it being beaten, paul even said i was a "good risk"
so well happy and a very big thank you to the people who arranged this set up Not Worthy!

Every part of the club is here to try and help other Galaxy owners Mac, so great to see all this positive feedback for the deals we've put in place! I can't encourage other members enough to just give Chris Knott a 5 minute phone call when their insurance is due for renewal - we haven't had a single member get a quote higher than their lowest previous quote yet. And the call is free too!
