Yeah that's £130 more than i want to spend and don't have time to refurb them myself. Got a guy that will do a full and blast and repaint for £160 a set. Which is good. But still looking at £300. Remember, my car was bought for £400, and stands me at about £1200/£1300 now lol. Can't keep ploughing money into it

If you keep your eye out on ebay wheels come about quite often with decent tyres,
mine where only about £130 a few years back and i did a diy refurb on them.

Go 50mm, go on..... do it, you wont be disappointed  Cool

Nothing i have ever done has ever been described as done properly  Grin

But in seriousness, "castor wheels" is my main concern and i don't intend to replace my wheels. I couldn't justify the cost (to the Mrs lol). Even getting these, my response was. "if you want. Whatever you think is best". And we all know what that means  Smack! Punish See Ya

look at photos of mine Wink

iirc the Alhambra and Sharan sport are 35mm dropped as standard..... you hear that, STANDARD  Grin

Lowering mine 50mm was the best mod i ever did as it now corners a lot better and rides nice too,
oh yeah, it looks the nuts too.

Never mind. Been pointed towards fk 35mm at £95 + £10 p&p. First time I've lowered a car (intentionally). Looking forward to getting them on next weekend!

Yeah i gathered so. Apparently 50mm is considered the max. After pics too though to judge if I'd need to have bigger wheels to stop it looking daft. Well, more daft than it already looks lol. Don't want to be paying out for wheels and there inevitably more expensive tyres

Other members on here have fitted 50mm springs on standard shocks with no problems as far as I know.
