Looking good dude!!!

I tried my 4 LED 501s that were in the side lights in the front passenger map light and it blew both of them!!! I can only presume that this is what happens as they were working prior to me taking them out of the side lights, but didnt work in the map light and still didn't work when i tried putting them back in the sidelights Huh?

normal filament 501 that is currently in the map light is 12v 5w the same as was in the sidelights so I can't understand what happened. Haven't checked anythign with multimeter as in work tonight. Any ideas?

putting them the wrong way wouldn't blow them though would it? I didn't check when putting them both in the sidelights and they worked fine. Mad one - The bloke I got them from has asked for them back to check what happened so will see if i can get any replacements from him Smiley

It must be a polarity thing as they both worked in the map light this morning! Had to try them in both ways though so must have just been bad luck that I got it wrong every time yesterday!!! Will check it in the dark tonight, but reckon it'll need brighter than 4 LED ones to make it worthwhile having it there!

Steve, you'll have to do red mate. a) it'll match the car and b ) having red lights everywhere will go quite well with your pushing, pulling, lubrication, shaft, in and out post on the key stuck in lock thread LMAO
