Just invested in some Meguiars products and found this link

Meguiars Instant Car Clinic

you put in some details and it tells you what products and how often you should use them to keep your Gal spankingly shiny.

 Thumbs Up

I've just used the carwash (£13.99) washmit (£13.99) and the water magnet (£11.95) for the first time and i'm impressed! done the whole car twice using 1/2 the water I would normally use and it's come up spanking without even polishing or waxing. will definately use again (got to at those prices - not chucking it away!!) I will invest in the 3 stage wax system next. Even looking at the scratch X product. Has anyone used it on their car?

Bemmyboy, your link didn't work. Can you check what I've corrected is what you've seen? Ta!

Sorry m8, never filled it in. Might do now though. Wink

I have used some Meguiars products from the good feedback they were given by others on here and have to say I'm very impressed.

Not cheap, but you don't need to use a lot and the finish is excellent.

I found that the stage 1 paint cleaner (part of the 3 step system) was just as good as scratch X for removing small surface scratches and swirls from the bodywork. If you are getting the 3 step system anyway, save your cash and just rub a little harder with step 1!

I reckon the minimum time you need to put aside for the 3 step system is 8 hours. 4 hours for the paint cleaner to do a really good job on it and then 2 hours each for the polish and caranuba wax steps. Taking another hour on the second step will give a deeper, more liquid shine though so well worth investing as much time as possible.

Meguiars are sponsoring the Show and Shine at Ford Fair so will have their usual black trade stand set up with great prices on their range. Save some money for the show!!! LMAO
