firstly sorry if ive posted in wrong place
ive just got a ford 2007R radio with amp and cd changer
with the ford wiring loom
most of the wires are easy enough to work out but these two (pic below) im unsure of
so if any one has any ideas would appreciate them

Si, where abouts on the loom are they? do they come out near the head unit, the CD end or in the middle?

I never thought that the MK1 had the Gala wire, but after fiddling with the head unit and looking at the Audio Guide, the 2007 does have Auto Volume Control so James is probably right on that one. Don't know if it works on the 2.3 though yet as all the book says is that it is for certain engines only! I'll take mone for a spin to test it later now I've activated it LMAO

(only had the car 2 years - maybe I should listen to the wife when she says to read the manual! LMAO)

earth
live feed from the battery

plus feed when the ignition is turned on

so dont have a mk1 so cant help more

i have a block that will plug into the existing loom (live/earthand ignition)
unless it goes at the fuse box end
